Anxiously waiting for news on this job I am pursuing. Met a few guys on a project I was doing late last year who worked for a very small startup (like 10 people). They, for some reason, liked me enough to want to bring me in on this new contract they are bidding on. It's been a long process, government contracts always are, but we should know for sure by tomorrow. Hopefully. It would be great work, with some really intelligent and hard working people, in a technically interesting environment . . . and more money of course.
Place I'm working at now is DEAD. Casey bailed last week, for him it was either bail or shoot himself in the head. It was getting that bad. This place is a complete dead end and unfortunately it looks like my company just doesn't have any where else to put me right now. They are cool with me leaving and I'm sure would take me back any time, if I wanted. So no hard feelings there. But man, I can't wait to get the hell out of here.
